Working on a variety of new and ongoing projects at job sites throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and Northern Massachusetts they are seeking an experienced Assistant Pre-Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join their team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop budgets ( including full participation in pre- construction process)
- Develop cost estimates based on unit costs, plan and analyze takeoffs
- Develop scopes of work, perform analysis of hard bids
- Create and manage budgets
- Maintain sub-contractor relations
- Maintain up-to-date records and bids
- Maintain organized and accurate drawings
- Compile associated Hand-Off Package
- Support all Project Managers
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders (Owners, Engineers, Subcontractors, Etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent; 6+ years of construction experience
- 3+ years of Project Management and Estimating and experience and 1+ years of in-house design experience.
- Carlson Takeoffs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Viewpoint Construction Accounting Software are needed.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Physics, Mathematics, and Structures.
- Valid driver’s license.
